The early part of the Great Depression on The Delaware & Hudson did not affect

the equipment much. Some older pieces may have been maintained better but they were still running Camel Back style locomotives up to 2-8-0 while having modern locomotives such as the Pacific's and some early Art Deco style streamlining.
