These three railroads were rather small though they later became part
of the Norfolk Southern System through mergers and acquisitions. Though
small, all three of these companies had not only older equipment, but also some
had more modern and even current state of the art equipment in service. In many cases performance data is included as well as some M-O-W equipment too.
The drawings are essentially blueprints that a skilled employee
could recognize, repair, and service equipment that was in service.
